Today was a day of firsts for Wyatt and I. We started off at the salon in a friends house where The Judith was getting her hair cut and waited... Wyatt got his very first hair cut today! I even saved some of his hair for his baby book. Someday I am going to let it grow long and see how he likes it, but for now we went with a classic fade. He looks like such a little man now!

Excited at first...

hating the clippers...

Resigned, anything for beauty

The finished product.
After Wyatt had his nap we went out on an errand that took about five hours of my precious time away. I was trying to square away my medical insurance, so Wyatt and I ventured out to Gig Harbor to take care of that. Well after we got across the Tacoma Narrows bridge I realized that we had the wrong address and had to turn around to go back across the Tacoma Narrows, little did I know I had to pay f0ur dollars to cross the bridge back to Tacoma. Talk about a steep toll and all I did was get lost a little bit, what an expensive detour! I found out I needed to be at Fort Lewis and got there finally, only to find out at the gate that I had to travel another two miles down I-5 to get a temporary vehicle pass. So off I went to get my vehicle pass and found out that my insurance I.D. card was expired, but luckily my insurance company rocks and I was able to get a current I.D. faxed to their office and off I went with my temporary pass. I finally got to the office where I needed to make the necessary changes and found out that I was misinformed and that everything was already squared away for me. The woman helping me felt horrible that I drove an hour out there for nothing. I tried to salvage my long trip by going to the PX Mall for some shopping fun where Wyatt and I had below average teriyaki chicken for dinner. On the positive side I did find out that Wyatt really like rice with teriyaki sauce on it.
Still a happy boy at the end of the day.
